Meet Guiselle Love
Come home to yourself.

For many years, I believed that having the things I was taught to want, a family, financial stability, and the life society told me would make me happy, would be enough.
And yet, even with those things, I felt an emptiness I couldn’t fill.
I began to realize that perhaps what I was looking for couldn’t be found in what I owned, what I accomplished, or what other people thought was best for me. Maybe there was something I needed to understand within myself.
That realization became part of my journey inward.
Learning to listen to myself
One of the most important lessons I’m still learning is the power of saying no.
For years, saying yes could feel easier than risking disapproval, disappointing someone, or not being accepted. I often gave more attention to what others believed was good for me than to the quiet voice inside me.
And today, I know that listening to myself matters. That my peace matters. That I can love people without abandoning myself in the process.
The more I learn to honor what I genuinely feel and need, the more I understand the connection between knowing myself and living in a way that feels true to me.
This journey is ongoing. I don’t believe we need to have everything figured out to begin. Sometimes, the most meaningful change starts with the courage to ask ourselves a different question.
What self-love really means to me
I believe self-love is much deeper than taking care of our bodies, eating well, exercising, working hard, or trying to do our best.
Those things can matter, but self-love also asks us to look at the parts of ourselves that have been affected by other people’s words, expectations, and judgments.
It asks us to question what we have learned to believe about ourselves. To notice the patterns we repeat. To become curious about the parts of ourselves we have ignored, hidden, or rejected.
Sometimes, loving ourselves means learning to unlearn.
It means giving ourselves permission to look honestly within, embrace our humanity, and discover who we are beneath everything we were taught to be.
Not to become perfect. Not to become someone else. But to know ourselves more deeply.
What spirituality means to me
Today, spirituality means remembering who we are and recognizing that so much of what we seek begins within us.
I believe there is an inner world worth exploring, a universe within each of us that we can spend a lifetime discovering.
For me, this is not about telling anyone what to believe. It’s about making space to listen, reflect, question, and reconnect with something deeper than external expectations.
The journey looks different for everyone. What matters is the willingness to turn inward and discover what feels true for you.
Why I created ÁNIMA
ÁNIMA grew from these questions and from my desire to create space for women to explore them, too.
Through my work as a life coach and through ÁNIMA the Podcast, I invite women into honest conversations about self-love, emotional awareness, personal growth, and what it means to live authentically.
My intention is not to give women all the answers. It’s to encourage them to ask their own questions, listen to their own voices, and become more aware of the wisdom and possibilities within themselves.
I want women to remember that they are more than the roles they fulfill, the expectations they carry, or the opinions others have of them.
There is so much to discover when we give ourselves permission to pause.
A little reminder for your journey
You don’t have to become someone else to find your way.
You don’t have to earn your worth by doing more, pleasing everyone, or meeting someone else’s expectations.
Sometimes, you simply need to pause long enough to hear yourself again.
The universe you are searching for may be closer than you think. The journey begins when you make space to rediscover it within yourself.
